About Dr. Brent MacDonald
Dr. MacDonald has a passion for sharing his knowledge of dentistry with his patients. He believes that a patient should always understand all aspects of their dental health and have the information needed to make educated decisions about their treatment options.
Dr. MacDonald is a proud member of the Canadian Dental Association (CDA) and Alberta Dental Association & College (ADA&C) and the Calgary District Dental Society (CDDS).
Dr. MacDonald has completed extensive training in placing dental implants and associated surgical procedures. He is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). Dr. MacDonald trained under Dr. Tassos Irinakis and Dr. Ron Zokol in Vancouver, B.C and Dr. Scott Peterson in Kingston, ON.
Dr. MacDonald loves helping his patients with missing teeth enjoy the benefits of being able to chew again.

Dr. Lorenzo Marcil
Dr. Lorenzo Marcil is a born and raised Calgarian. Growing up he always wanted to practice dentistry, which led to a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree from the University of Calgary and a Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from McGill University. Dr. Marcil also served as chief resident at a post-doctoral General Practice Residency at the University of Washington.
Dr. Marcil’s advanced training and interests include dentoalveolar surgery and sedation. Dr. Marcil is passionate about addressing dental anxiety through minimal and moderate sedation, which helps his patients have an exceptional experience. Dr. Marcil has also received extensive training in pediatric dentistry and behaviour management. He loves giving children a positive experience at the dentist, just like he had as a child.
Dr. Marcil has a passion for education and currently serves as an affiliate instructor and clinical lecturer with the University of Calgary, Alberta Health Services, and the University of Washington.
In his spare time, Dr. Lorenzo loves to cheer on his Seattle Seahawks, perform live music and karaoke, and is an accomplished runner and triathlete.

Darrell & Brent have been playing guitar together since their teen years growing up in Manitoba. Over the years, they have been part of various bands, solo and duo settings in schools, coffee houses/restaurants and community events. By day, Brent practices Dentistry in Calgary and Darrell is in Public Education in Manitoba.
